Dan Dare and Eagle "Fanzines"

1. Spaceship Away...

Click here to go to the Spaceship Away website

"Spaceship Away" is a superb Dan Dare magazine produced three times a year by Rod Barzilay.
The first four issues contain, amongst many other things, "The Phoenix Mission" - an entirely new Dan Dare story illustrated by two of the original 1950's and 60's Eagle artists: Don Harley and (the now sadly late) Keith Watson. You can find out more, and order your copies, by visiting the Spaceship Away website:

2. Eagle Times...

Click here to view The Eagle Society's weblog

There is a non profit-making fan club, "The Eagle Society", dedicated to the memory of the 1950-1969 original Eagle and Dan Dare, and they publish an excellent quarter-yearly magazine, "Eagle Times". You can obtain further details, and find out how to subscribe, by viewing The Eagle Society's highly informative weblog:

Or alternatively, write to:

Keith Howard, 25A Station Road, Harrow, Middlesex, HA1 2UA, United Kingdom.

(But please note: Keith is only the membership secretary, and he asks that you please just write to him and don't try to telephone him, and that you don't seek his advice on valuations etc. Thank you very much.)
